NEWS LETTER 2008 

                                            It is my great pleasure a to greet all of you with New Year 2008 wishes and Blessings from Zion as we enter into New Year 2008.  Praise The Lord!!!!! Great is the Lord and Greatly to be praised!!!  Ps.48: 1. While we turn over yester year it was so wonderful how the Lord led each one of us without failing by His Grace and Mercy!!!! In spite of every pressures and problems the Lord’s hand upon our life brought us New Year 2008.  God has give promise at midnight of 31^st Dec.2007 that is Jer.32: 25 I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint."

MY TRIP TO INDIA (NOV. THROUGH DEC.8^TH 2007) 

By His grace I went to India for a while to visit our church and to finish some official matters there in India and my family reminded here in USA. 

CHURCH IN MALOYA:     

                                                   By His grace I could visit our church in India on Nov.2007 and stayed over there till Dec 9th 2007.  It was wonderful to see how the Spirit of the Lord moved and is moving in our church in Maloya by added 10 more souls.  As you all know that we as a family left the country on Dec.2006 by given responsibility to Pastor Bashir Masih whom we appointed and anointed him to look after the church.  Certainly since then he taken over the church was so much expanded and encouraged believers in every area.  Thanks a lot for all of your prayers towards keep on going our ministry with abundance of souls and expansion of our church in Maloya at Chandigarh.

The matter of fact that Pastor Bashir Masih has given baptism to 5 Hindu converts and in addition that I had also had an opportunity to given baptism five more people whom God has saved including 105 yrs old man.  So now 184 people been baptized and added in the church since then we established a church in Maloya where there was no church neither a Christian back in 1993. These believers are coming from various religions as such Hindu, Muslim and Sikh.  These brothers and sisters are come to the Lord through various problems like incurable diseases, demon Possession, and debts etc. FOR ALL THESE PROBLEMS SOLVED BY JESUS WHO IS ONLY ANSWER. 

EXPANSION OF BUILDING: Since there are a lot of people for worship we found that there is no room to accommodate many people. Although we are praying for funds to expand the building by purchasing neighbor’s building (house) but unfortunately both of the sides that is right and left side not assent to sale their houses since they are Hindus. If they would agree to sale that would be great benison to the church   now we have got more people coming for worship service regularly and found less space in the church. And we also found that the church neighbors do not want to give their houses for sale to expand the church that is very next door. Because of their reluctant of giving out for sale to church building they are coming from Hindus and so much reluctant to do so.  Please pray for to expand the building at the earliest.  Otherwise we have to move entire congregation to somewhere, where we have to construct the building again.

DAY CARE CENTER:      

This center is providing free meal to poor children those are coming on every morning and assisting them to have basic education along with bible teaching.  These children dropped out from school due to economical situations and some of them are street children and most of them are from the same village those parents’ alcoholics and drugs addicts etc.  Some of their parents goes to work early morning and comes late evening to their homes.During their absence these center helps them to have a meal in noon and to get some moral support from teacher and helper of the center. Please pray for their future and through this center so far few families had been saved.  Praise the Lord! Need more support for this center also

SUITATION OF CHANDIGARH CHRISTIANS:

When I had been Nov.2007 there were two Christian youth had been beaten badly. Hereby I have attached newspaper cutting.

OUR VISION

A.CHURCH PLANTING: By His grace there are two places namely Jujar nager, Mullanpur where Pastor Bashir Maish and some of our believers go and conduct the prayer meeting regularly on Sundays and other days.  The both places had been visited by me while I were gone to India. 

It was wonderful to see how the Sprit of the Lord is working and drawing people towards His Kingdom. In Jujar Nagar there are 15 Hindu and Sikh religion people are coming regularly to attend Sunday evening worship.  Please pray that the Lord may increase and to add more souls to establish the church. This meeting is taking place in one of our believer's house.  In near future we would like to take house on rent and to start Sunday morning worship since it is going to be crowded.

B.ORPHANGE: It is also equally vital vision to establish an orphanage there in Chandigarh . Because of this cause we are in USA to raise the funds .We have many children those are orphans and semi orphans.  Of course in North India it also can be a channel to reach out many people if we would bring up in the Lord and we never know one day they will be preachers and good administrators in the Government of India and teachers in the schools etc.  This is our main notion of set up an orphanage in Chandigarh, Punjab.  Please pray for this vision to pass through soon.  We need to buy a land and to construct the building and make few facilities like hall for study, two dormitory (Bed rooms) (one for boys and one for girls), 7 staff (one cook .one helper, two teachers. one manager. one warden and worship and one kitchen and three rest rooms cum bath room. a ground for play.

Therefore, we covet your prayers and support to come through this vision soon.

6.Pray for our children (Sam Franklin and Sam Pushparaj) future.
